 ESF Plus project “Measures for inclusive employment” Nr. 4.3.3.2/1/24/I/002

The State Employment Agency (hereinafter – SEA) within the ESF+ project “Measures for Inclusive Employment” implements the measure “Mentoring Service for Persons with Disabilities”, the purpose of which is to promote the motivation of unemployed persons with disabilities to integrate into the labour market, social inclusion and placement in a permanent job.

Who is eligible for participation?

A person registered with the SEA who has been declared unemployed and has a disability.

Within the framework of the measure, the participant will work together with a mentor to complete tasks. The mentor will assist:

  • in developing skills to use one’s personal resources and in building self-confidence;
  • in developing social skills (communication, conflict resolution, learning skills, adaptation to new circumstances, etc.) and their application in life;
  • in developing a critical attitude towards one’s own unemployment situation;
  • in acquiring knowledge and skills for organising everyday life and time management;
  • in motivation to acquire the skills and competences needed for finding a job;
  • in promote independence in decision-making and employment-related matters and motivate to put the skills learnt into practice;
  • in improving CV and cover letter skills. Will help to apply for vacancies;
  • in arranging meetings with representatives of companies, non-governmental organisations or public/municipal institutions to learn about their specific work and opportunities;
  • in preparing for a job interview.

What is the duration of the measure?

The duration of the measure is up to 6 (six) months, divided into two phases. A job search phase of up to three months, and a job start phase – three months. The mentor can be consulted both in person and remotely.

How to apply?

  1. Visit a SEA branch and state your interest in participating.
  2. Receive an individual job search plan from the employee of the SEA branch.
  3. The mentor will inform of the first meeting in person.
  4. Attend the meeting with the mentor on the appointed date and time.
