Every year, the State Employment Agency (SEA), in cooperation with employers, organises a meeting event for employers and job seekers with disabilities called Open Doors Days in Companies for Persons with Disabilities. Job seekers will meet with representatives of companies and institutions to explore employment opportunities in a working environment.

You can follow the organised events in the State Employment Agency’s calendar of events.

Purpose of the measure:

To promote the inclusion of job seekers with disabilities in the labour market and to reduce stereotypes about employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Benefits for job seekers:

  • Obtaining a practical insight into the working environment, main responsibilities, work organisation and job opportunities in the chosen company or institution;
  • Better insight into the vacancies available and the working process;
  • Getting to know the team;
  • During the meeting with the employer, you will have the opportunity to clarify other important employment-related matters.

Course of the measure:

1. Step

  • The job seeker selects the employer of interest in the Calendar of Events on the SEA website and completes the application electronically.

    2. Step

    • Having received the application of a job seeker, the SEA informs the job seeker that participation in the measure has been confirmed.

    3. Step

    • A representative of the SEA together with the job seekers visits the company on site. Job seekers are given the opportunity to get to know the company’s working environment and work process, the profession in which the job is offered and to ask any questions they may have.
    • To prepare for participation, job seekers can receive career consultation in the preparation of a CV and a cover letter, as well as advice on how to prepare for a job interview.
