Open online courses are available on learning platforms such as EdX, Futurelearn, MiriadaX un GetSmarter.
The SEA supports training on open online course platforms where:
- at least two higher education institutions offer the curriculum in an official language of a European Union (EU) Member State;
- and at least ten higher education institutions represented on the platform are included in the "Times Higher Education" global university rankings. If fewer than ten higher education institutions offer programmes on the Open Online Courses platform, they must all be listed in the Times Higher Education World university rankings.

Learning pathways to support transdisciplinary skills:
- communication and collaboration in the work environment (e.g. emotional intelligence; effective conflict resolution; supportive teamwork; public speaking; networking)
- learning skills and methods (e.g. self-directed learning; application of acquired knowledge; peer learning)
- self-organisation and time management (e.g. effective use of personal resources for a productive working day; stress resilience)
- creativity and innovation in a professional environment (e.g. design thinking, creativity in a business environment)
To apply fill out the form with information about yourself and your chosen programme and its price
- At least 4 hours a workday for unemployed persons and registered jobseekers;
- At least 5 hours a week for employed and self-employed persons.
- 4 months within a year for unemployed persons and registered jobseekers;
- 6 months within a year for employed and self-employed persons.
he SEA reimburses tuition fees of €500 over a period of two years.
List of approved programmes (in Latvian):

CIf an absence is justified, unused training days can be rescheduled to make up for the missed days, provided an appropriate supporting document is submittedomplete the training on time and obtain a training certificate.

Submit proof of payment and the training certificate to the Agency within 30 days of completing the training.

Make the payment for the training within the approved period.

Inform the SEA promptly about any changes in the training process, no later than during the specified training period.
If obligations are not met, the client will be disqualified from receiving the service for 12 months!
If participation in training is temporarily halted for a justified reason, unused training days can be rescheduled to make up for the missed time, provided documentary proof of the justification is submitted.

Temporary incapacity for work (such as illness).

Caring for a sick child.

Attendance due to having been summoned to investigative institution, prosecutor’s office, or court.

Temporary halt for up to two days due to the death of a first-degree relative (parent, child) or spouse.

Other objective circumstances beyond the client’s control, provided that information is submitted to the SEA.
